2 Art exhibitions during Corona in Israel

During Covid-19 I was luck to participate in two artists exhibition in 2 locations in Israel.

The idea of creating these exhibitions was strange at the beginning - who will come to see art during the pandemic?

During the summer, in the break between the quarantines, and under strict rules by the Ministry of Health, the idea came to life.

Each one them was focusing on another subject - one was about the outside and the other about the internal memories and expectation.

The Art as a Way of Life - Raanana Exhibition | Aug 2020

The exhibition took place in the Music and Art Centre in Raanana. The main theme was related to color, landscapes and nature, and the summer motive as an expression of vacation and travel, blossoming and rejuvenation, alongside works that respond to social changes, family, internal and external relations, the artist and the world around him.

The subject of this exhibition was in a complete contradict to the global pandemic situation where people were not allows to travel and spend time in nature.

I was part of a group of artists who participated in the event and 4 of my paintings were displayed there.

22 Israeli artists gathered up to create this exhibition that reflects the longing to normal days and the isolation we all felt during the pandemic.

Closing ourselves with the closest people, changing our routine, reconsidering and respecting every little thing in our lives.

I presented 3 paintings that better reflected how I felt during this time.
