Anat Yohanan is lives and creates in Israel.
Painting using oil colors on canvases in different sizes, aquarelle color on paper, and linoleum prints. 
Painting in realistic-figurative style.
The oil paintings are done in the layer's method, while I'm waiting for each layer to completely dry and allow the one beneath it to slightly reveal itself.
In the previous series, I used to paint mainly good-looking women, in the state of expectation and tension; situations that felt melancholic to me.
In my recent sequence, I draw mainly from observing still life, objects, and elements from the environment close to me that intrigue me and create in me a tension of expectation to where the pencil or brush will take the same observation and what interpretation will be obtained while working. Also, family situations, hidden dialogues between characters which stimulate my curiosity.
I draw my inspiration from the great artists Degas, Renoir, and Monnet.
